All permanent and temporary Govt. servants joining Government service before 01.04.2005 (01.01.2004 in respect of All India Services), other than those appointed on contract and re-employed pensioner, whose services are likely to continue for more than a year shall subscribe to General Provident Fund after completion of one-year service. Application for the allotment of GP Fund account of such Govt. servant should be submitted to this office within three months of their appointment. As soon as the GPF Account Number is intimated from this office they should start subscribing to GP Fund against the allotted number.
