The Service Book along with the pension proposals prepared and submitted by the Heads of Department are further checked and processed in this office for authorisation of terminal benefits like Pension, DCRG, Family Pension and Commutation of Pension.  The checking includes Verification of service & pay particulars recorded in Service Book, Pay Fixation, Availability of requisite documents etc.  In the present IFMS scenerio e-applications are received from departments with supporting documents and sanction of PSA.  On processing the Pension cases and after obtaining the approval of Branch Officer e-authorisations are forwarded simultaneously to Treasury and to the pensioner concerned under Digital Signature Certificate for making payment.
