DA Cadre

Divisional Accountant Cadre is functional cadre and is regulated by Pr. Accountant General in accordance with Indian Audit and Accounts Department, Divisional Accountant Recruitment Rules framed by the President of India under article 148(5) of the Constitution of India. The transfer/posting policy for the cadre already exists, which is issued by the comptroller and Auditor General of India for Sr. Divisional Accounts officer, Divisional Accounts officer Grade-I and II and Divisional accountants. Divisional Accounts constitute a distinct cadre and are appointed to various Works Divisions of State Government essentially to take care of keeping and compilation of Accounts, pre check and internal auditing etc.
