The Branch Office at Dharwad was opened with effect from 1^st December 1988 vide O.O No. AG(AU)I/Admn./A4/88-89 File No. 88(i)/AS 45 dated 25.11.1988. The Branch office Dharwad started functioning from 01.12.1988. The Branch office is assigned with the functions of vetting of Inspection Reports (Cluster 4 & 5) of 13 districts, persuasion of Inspection Reports, Objections, proposals of Draft Notes, apart from Establishment & Administration of Branch Office.
