Audit Reports

Overview

The Report contains significant results of the performance and compliance audit of the departments of the Government of Meghalaya under the Social, Economic (including Public Sector Undertakings) and General Sectors including Public Health Engineering, Labour, Health & Family Welfare, Housing, Urban Affairs, Education, Public Works, Border Areas Development, Programme Implementation & Evaluation, Transport, Power, Tourism departments and Public Sector Undertakings. However, audit observations on Revenue Sector of the Government of Meghalaya are excluded and covered in the Report on Revenue Sector. The cases mentioned in this Report are those which came to notice in the course of test audit of accounts for the year 2014-15 as well as those, which came to notice in earlier years, but could not be dealt with in previous Reports. Matters relating to the period subsequent to 2014-15 have also been included, wherever necessary.
