Overview

In accordance with Article 151 of the Constitution of India, the Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India on Social, General and Economic Sectors (Non-Public Sector Undertakings) for the year ended 31 March 2018 - Government of Punjab, was forwarded to the State Government on 31st  October 2019 for laying in the State Legislature.  The Report was laid in the State Legislature on 27 February 2020.

The Report comprises of three Chapters.

Chapter-I contains the financial profile of the State, planning and conduct of audit and follow-up action on Audit Reports.

Chapter-II deals with the findings of two Performance Audits viz. (i)  Information Technology Audit of e-Aushadhi; and (ii) Working of Punjab Building and Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board.

Chapter-III deals with audit findings on Compliance Audit in various Departments comprising 19 paragraphs.
