Externally Aided Project

The C&AG of India acts as an independent auditor for the purpose of certifying the statement of expenditure (SOE) in respect of externally aided projects. These projects are funded by World Bank, Asian Development Bank (ADB), Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) and other external agencies.

This office certifies the Statement of Expenditure (SOE/Project Financial Statement (PFS) of the following externally aided projects.

1. The North Eastern Region Capital Cities Development Investment Programme (NERCCDIP) under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. (Three Trenches)
2. Capacity Building for Urban Development (CBUD) under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
3. Sustainable Urban Transport Project (SUTP) under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
4. Efficient and Sustainable City Bus Service (ESCBS) under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
5. National Highways Interconnectivity improvement project under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH)
6. Jal Marg Vikas Project (IWAI) under the Ministry of Shipping
7. Manu - Simlung Project (National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation) under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH)
8. Projects of National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) financed through World Bank (WB), Asian Development Bank (ADB)
