The Government of Gujarat has introduced NPS with effect from 01.04.2005. Hence, only the employees recruited prior to 01.04.2005 are eligible to join the fund. In addition, the employee(s) declared to be eligible to join the fund as per court verdict, are also enrolled to the Fund, from time to time.
