- Superannuation Pension: Rule 35 of CCS (Pension) Rules, 1972 & Rule-16 of All India Service (Death cum Retirement Benefits) Rules 1958 for member of All India Services.
- Retiring Pension: Rules 3 (1), (2) of H.P. Civil Servics (Premature Retirement Rules) 1976 & under Rule 17 of All India Service (Death cum retirement Benefits) Rules 1958 for members of All India Services.
- Invalid Pension: Rule 38 of CCS (Pension) Rules, 1972 & Rule 13 of All India Service (Death cum Retirement Benefits) Rules 1958 for members of All India Services.
