Accountant General (A&E) Uttarakhand.

Shri Rajiv Kumar, is a 2002 batch IA&AS officer having Physics background. Prior to his posting as Accountant General (A&E), Uttarakhand on 19-01-2022 at Dehradun, he was posted as Accountant General, Chhattisgarh at Raipur. He had also served in various capacity at Chandigarh, Agartala, Ranchi and Delhi.

He has the vast experience of auditing of Central PSUs like Coal India Limited and its subsidiaries, BSNL, MTNL, TCIL, Air India and Central Government Departments viz. Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Department of Posts, Department of Telecom etc. In state, he was involved in audit of various government departments viz PWD, Forest, GST etc. He was instrumental in conducting special audit of Private Telecom Service Providers like Airtel, Vodafone, Reliance India Mobile, Tata Teleservices etc. Regarding Accounting function, he had the experience of preparation of Appropriation and Finance Account of State Governments, Maintenance of General Provident fund, Processing of Pension Payment cases of state government employees.

Besides   domestic audit assignments, he has the international exposure of conducting audit of various field units of World Food Program at Johannesburg, Zambia, Zimbabwe and its headquarters at Rome, Italy. He was also involved in Audit of Euro funds of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), at Vienna, Austria and United Nation Office at Geneva, Switzerland. He conducted audit of Indian Missions at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia & Muscat, Oman

He was trained in various Training Programs in Performance, Compliance, Financial, Environment and IT audit and Financial Management conducted by Supreme Audit Institution of India and other institutions like IIM, Ahmedabad, IIPA, Delhi etc. Besides domestic training, he completed ISSAI certification Program in Compliance Audit at Manila, Philippines and Management Development Program (MDP) at Berkley University in California, USA
