Audit Management Group (AMG-I) Section and Function

Audit Management Group-I

Functions of AMG-1 are as follows-

  • Audit Inspection reports are submitted by the field parties at Headquarter. These AIRs are vetted and reports issued to the audit entity after obtaining approval of Group Officer. As per procedure AIRs have to be submitted by the parties at Hqrs within seven days after concluding audit and have to be issued to the auditee units within one month.
  • (AIR/Para) position of all issued AIRs is maintained in the section.
  • Proposed Draft para of AIRs submitted by parties are checked at preliminary level and if found fit are sent to Draft Para Cell for further necessary action at their end after obtaining approval of Sr/D.A.G.
  • Replies of AIRs received from the audit entity are reviewed and rejoinder of same issued after taking appropriate action.
  • All returns viz. Quarterly progress report, Annual Performance report, reply of Director of Inspection’s queries and other reports sent to Headquarter office / ITA section well in time.
  • Revised Tour Programme and TA Bill of the parties are processed in the section after obtaining approval of Sr. DAG (SS-Hqrs) and forwarded to Admn. Section.
  • Court cases received from Legal Cell (A&E), if any are reviewed in the section and necessary para wise replies sent to legal Cell of the A&E office.
  • AIR Watch Register is maintained in the section.
  • Other information and works are done in the section as and when asked to do so.
