Section & Function
AMG-IV is under the control of Sr. Dy. Accountant General/AMG-IV is further divided into five sections namely Headquarters1, Headquarters II (Report), Vetting-I, Vetting-II and DP Cell to discharge the work assigned in an effective manner. Each section is controlled by Assistant Audit Officer under the full supervision of their respective Sr Audit Officers. Each Assistant Audit Officer is assisted by Auditors/Sr Auditors, Clerks and Multi-Tasking Staffs. Details of works allotted to Each Section:
Headquarter – I
The section is responsible for the preparation of Annual Audit Plan, Preparation of audit tour programme and audit of auditee units. Taking up of new auditee units and other audit related issues are dealt by the section.
Headquarter – II (Report)
The section is responsible for issues related to Annual Audit Report & SAR. Correspondence with Headquarters & others are made by the section. Compilation of various Reports/Returns & Training and Exams related works are also done by the section.
Vetting I
The Section is responsible for the vetting and approval of draft inspection reports related to four department viz. Higher, Technical Education & Skill Development Department ; Home, Jail and Disaster Management; Tourism, Arts, Sports, Culture & Youth Affairs and Law. Approved Inspection reports are issued, reminder regarding compliance of outstanding paras are sent to the auditee units, new paras are incorporated in objection books. Old Inspection Reports are reviewed and necessary proposals relating to outstanding paras are done. Miscellaneous reports & returns/statement are prepared.
Vetting –II
The Section is responsible for the vetting and approval of draft inspection reports related to four department viz. Labour Employment Department, Primary and Secondary Education, Information Technology & e-governance and Information and Public Relation
Approved Inspection reports are issued, reminder regarding compliance of outstanding paras are sent to the auditee units, new paras are incorporated in objection books. Old Inspection Reports are reviewed and necessary proposals relating to outstanding paras are done. Miscellaneous reports & returns/statement are prepared.
DP Cell
The function of DP Cell/AMG-IV is to prepare Draft paras for CAG’s report from the PDP’s marked from the Units audited in AMG-IV under the above mentioned 08 Departments Related KDs are also procured from the concerned units and departments to meet the queries raised by DAG/Pr AG/ CAG office (Headquarters) relating to the DPs.
