The office of the Principal Accountant General (Audit)-I, Maharashtra, Mumbai is entrusted with management of the combined cadre of Civil Audit Offices:

Cadre control of common cadre of Senior Audit Officers/Assistant Audit Officers in three offices

• Office of Principal Accountant General (Audit)-I, Mumbai,
• Office of Principal Director of Audit (Central), Mumbai and
• Office of Accountant General (Audit)-II, Nagpur

All matters pertaining to promotions/transfers and deputations of the combined cadre officials are looked after by this office.

  • Redevelopment of Bhandup and Mulund Staff quarters is in progress
