The Report contains significant results of the performance audit and compliance audit of the Departments of the Government of Odisha under the General and Social Services including Planning & Co-ordination, Health & Family Welfare, Fisheries & Animal Resources Development, Forest & Environment, ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare, Women & Child Development, Panchayati Raj, Housing & Urban Development, Information Technology, Law and Water Resources Departments.
However, Departments of Home, Revenue & Disaster Management. Higher Education, Rural Development, Labour & Employees' State Insurance, School & Mass Education, Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare, Public Grievances & Pension Administration, Sports & Youth Services, Culture, Information & Public Relation, Parliamentary Affairs, General Administration, Public Enterprises, Finance and Science & Technology are not covered in this Report on General and Social Services.
The instances mentioned in this Report are those, which came to notice in the course of test audit for the period 2013-14 as well as those which came to notice in earlier years, but could not be reported in the previous Audit Reports; instances relating to the period subsequent to 2013-14 have also been included, wherever necessary.
