Continuous Professional Education is a necessity for all civil servants. Academy organizes training courses for serving IA&AS officers based on the outcome of an elaborate training needs analysis carried out by the Academy on the basis of information gathered from officers, their supervisors and the strategic plan of IA&AD. In 2016-17, an exercise was conducted to know from the field officers as well as their superiors as to what they need to learn/upgrade and what they expect from their subordinate IA&AS officers respectively. Based on the response from the officers, the topics for imparting knowledge and upgrading skills were identified for the officers at different stages of their career. This ensures that right kind of inputs are provided to the officers.
