Administrative functions:
The Office
The Office conducts the audit of the auditee units (Missions/Posts, Autonomous bodies, etc.) through the teams headed by Principal Director (Audit) and Director (Audit).
Apart from the above, the Office is actively involved in the in-house trainings and upgradation of skills of its staff. The auditee units under jurisdiction are also provided guidance on necessary topics as required by them.
The Office also works in collaboration with the International Relations (IR) Wing to liaison with the Missions/Posts under its jurisdiction.
E-governance
The office places special focus on IT related workability and all the India based officers have been provided laptops for streamlined connectivity. There is emphasis on carrying out all work and correspondence through electronic media.
