AMG-IV : The Accountant General (Audit) is responsible for audit of Expenditure and Revenue Receipt of Government of Bihar under Section 13 and 16 of CAG’s DPC Act 1971. He is also responsible for preparation and finalization of Audit Report on Revenue and Report on the Finance Sector for the Government of Bihar. Accordingly, all tax and non-tax receipts of State Government. The AMG-IV deals with the audit of the offices under Commercial Taxes, Stamp and Registration, State Excise, Finance, Planning & Development and Information Technology & Communication Departments are audited under overall supervision of the Accountant General. The results of the audit are reflected in an Audit Report (Revenue Receipts), which is laid on the floor of the State Legislature.
