<p>lt;p gt;Dr. Nanda Dulal Das is a member of the 2015 batch of Indian Audit and Accounts Services. amp;nbsp;He joined the Academy as Director on 4th May, 2024. Before joining the Academy, he has served in the department of Audit amp;amp; Accounts in various capacities such as Director(Training/Research) at ICED Jaipur, Deputy Accountant General, AMG-I amp;amp; Admn at the O/o Pr. AG/AG (Audit)-I, West Bengal, Kolkata, Deputy Accountant General, Pension at the O/o Pr. Accountant General (Aamp;amp;E) Orissa, Bhubaneswar. amp;nbsp;lt;/pgt; lt;p gt;Dr. Das is a Fulbright- Nehru visiting scholar. He did his Post-doctoral research on Solid Waste Management in smart cities in the USA.lt;/pgt; lt;p gt;He completed his post-graduation (Gold Medal) and under-graduation (Silver Medal) major in Geography. Dr. Das completed his PhD on amp;lsquo;Convergence between Watershed Development Projects amp;amp; Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Schemeamp;rsquo; in India, and his MPhil on amp;lsquo;Dynamism of Agricultural Land-Use around Metropolitan Citiesamp;rsquo;, from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.lt;/pgt; lt;p gt;His research and areas of publications include Climate change, Waste Management, Blue Economy, Audit of Natural Resources, Urbanization and Smart Citiesamp;rsquo; Development, and Use of tools of remote sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS).lt;/pgt;</p>
