Eligibility to join the fund is decided as per the orders of the State Government issued from time to time.
All temporary Government servants after a continuous service of one year and all permanent Government servants are eligible to open GPF Account for subscribing to the Fund. Form “Schedule-LIII-Form No.201-A" is being submitted for opening new GPF Account.
Apprentices and probationers shall be treated as temporary Govt. servants for this purpose.
Temporary Government servants who have been appointed against regular vacancies and are likely to continue for more than a year may subscribe any time before completion of one year of service.
