Audit Management Group-II

There are two sections under this Group. Summary of the functions and responsibilities of the Sections are as described below:

Economic	Vetting and issue of Inspection Reports pertaining to Economic Sector; Monitoring of Inspection Reports; Preparation of Probable Draft Paragraphs for inclusion in the CAG’s State Audit Report; Conduct of Audit Sub-Committee Meetings for settlement of outstanding paras and inspection reports pertaining to the Section; Preparation of Quarterly MIS; Audit of the following Departments/offices are conducted by Economic Section: Agriculture Commerce and Industries Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Co-operation Fishery Forest and Environment Department (including State CAMPA) Information Technology Horticulture and Soil Conservation Planning Power Public Health Engineering Public Works Science & Technology Sericulture Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Water Resources
2.	Revenue	Preparation of Annual Audit Plan for Economic and Revenue Sectors; Preparation quarterly/monthly tour programmes; Vetting and issue of Inspection Reports pertaining to Revenue Sector & PSUs; Monitoring of Inspection Reports; Preparation of Probable Draft Paragraphs for Revenue Sector units and PSUs for inclusion in the CAG’s State Audit Report; Conduct of Audit Sub-Committee Meetings for settlement of outstanding paras and inspection report pertaining to the Section; Conduct of Supplementary Audit on the Annual Financial Statements of PSUs; Preparation of Quarterly MIS; Audit of the following Departments are conducted by Revenue Section: Finance State Excise Taxation Revenue (Stamp and Registration) Transport State PSUs (under Economic and Revenue Sectors)
