Audit of receipts and expenditure of following departments are conducted under Section 13, 14 and 15 of CAG’s (DPC) Act 1971 by General Sector such as-

2. Audit of Community & Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department under the Head: 2501-Special Programme for Rural Development, 2505-Rural Employment, 2515- Other Rural Development Programme, 3604- Compensation and Assignment to Local Bodies and Panchayati Raj Institutions.
3. Audit of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution System Department under the Head: 2408-Food Storage and Ware Housing, 3475-Other General Economic Services, 4408-Capital Outlay and Ware Housing.
4. Audit of Department of Tribal Affairs, Hills and Schedule Casts Development under the Head : 2071-Pension& Other Retirement Benefits, 2225- Welfare of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes & Minorities, 3604- Compensation and Assignment to Local bodies and Panchayati Raj Institutions, 4225-Capital Outlay on Welfare of SC, ST & OBC, 4552- Capital Outlay on North Eastern Areas.

6. Audit of Information and Public Relation Department (DIPR) under the Head: 2220-Information and Publicity, 4220-Capital Outlay on Information and Publicity.
7. Audit of Labour and Employment Department under the Head: 2230-Labour and Employment, 2235- Social Security and Welfare, 4250- Capital Outlay on Other Social Services.
