We audit all the State Government Departments and public commercial enterprises controlled by the state governments, non-commercial autonomous bodies and authorities owned or controlled by the States, Bodies and authorities substantially financed from State finances such as Urban Local Bodies and Panchayati Raj Institutions.
OTHER FUNCTIONS OF ACCOUNTANT GENERAL
The Accountant General (Audit), Manipur, functions as the Chairman of the Central Government Employees Welfare Co-ordination Committee (CGEWCC). Besides, he is the overall in-charge of the Hindi Teaching Scheme, Imphal centre and the Chairman of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee, Imphal, Chairman of the Regional Sports Board and a member of the Finance Committee of Manipur University.
