The Annual Technical Inspection Report for the year ended 31st March 2019 has been prepared for submission to the Government of Maharashtra as per provision contained in the Government of Maharashtra, Finance Department’s Government Resolution of March 2011.
This report contains an overview of the functioning, accountability mechanism and financial reporting issues of the Panchayati Raj Institutions and Urban Local Bodies in the state in terms of Technical Guidance and Supervision to audit of the Panchayati Raj Institutions and Urban Local Bodies.
The Annual Technical Inspection Report contains two Chapters. Chapter I and Chapter II pertains to accountability framework and financial reporting in the Panchayati Raj Institutions and Urban Local Bodies respectively.
