Audit Reports

Overview

This Report deals with the results of audit of Government companies, Departmental Undertakings and Statutory Corporations for the year ended 31 March 2018. This Report has been divided into two parts. Part I deals with the analysis of the performance of the three Power Sector Undertakings and Part II deals with the analysis of the performance of the 133 State Public Sector Undertakings (other than Power Sector).

The Part I includes Compliance Audit Observations relating to Power Sector Undertakings on Implementation of Small Hydro Electric Projects by Kerala State Electricity Board Limited.

Part II includes Chapter IV which is Performance Audit on Management of non-subsidised commodities in The Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited. The report also includes  Compliance Audit Observations on ‘Sanction and recovery of defaulted loans’ by The Kerala State Financial Enterprises Limited, ‘Failure in implementation of project’ by Kerala Feeds Limited, ‘Sharing of revenue from Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT) projects’ by Kerala State Road Transport Corporation,’ Investment of surplus funds by Public Sector Undertakings’, ‘Infructuous expenditure’ by The Kerala State Cashew Development Corporation Limited and ‘Delay in finalisation of Annual Accounts in State PSUs’
