Introduction

Audit Management Group-I Wing comprises 5 HQrs sections and two Report Sections. AMG-I is conducting audit of 7 departments viz Finance Department, Planning and Economic Affairs Department and Taxes Department/ State Goods and Service Tax Department, Stamps and Registration, State Lotteries, State Excise and Agriculture income tax. The five autonomous bodies viz. Traders Welfare Board, Kerala Development and Innovation Strategy Council, Centre for Development Studies, Kerala State Remote Sensing and Environment Centre and Investment Fund Board (KIFBI) are also under the audit purview of this wing. It also undertakes the certification of accounts of 7 PSUs viz. Kerala Financial Corporation, The Travancore Sugars and Chemicals Ltd, Kerala State Financial Enterprices Ltd., Kerala State Beverages Corporation Ltd., Malabar Distilleries Ltd., Kerala Social Security Pension Ltd and Vision Varkala Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd.
