Shri N. Dinakaran, IA&AS
Senior Deputy Accountant General (Administration)
Shri N. Dinakaran, IA&AS, has taken over charge on 27th July 2020 as Sr.Deputy Accountant General (Administration). He belongs to Indian Audit and Accounts Service, 2009 batch. He has done B.Sc. in Physics from St. Josephs College, Tiruchirapalli. He started his career in the Southern Railway Audit Office in the year 1986. In Southern Railway Audit, he has worked in the Audit of Workshop, Stores, Establishment, Traffic, Intensified Inspection Construction & Division. After induction to IA & AS cadre, he has served in the following sectors: South East Central Railway, Central Expenditure, Income tax and Scientific Depatment. He is also a Global Fellow of Goldman School of Public Policy, University of California, Berkeley, USA. Before joining this Office he was holding the charge of Director of Audit, Scientific Department, New Delhi at Mumbai Branch.
Shri C.J. Karthi Kumar, IA&AS
Deputy Accountant General (Funds & GAD)
Shri C J Karthi Kumar IA & AS (Batch – 2016) has taken over charge as Deputy Accountant General (Funds-2 & GAD) in this office on 6th Sep 2021. He was graduated from Government Arts & Science College, Ponneri, Thiruvallur District in B. Sc (Physics) - First class. He started his career as Auditor in the office of the Accountant General (Audit-I), Tamil Nadu in the year 1986. He had served in various units of Audit Office such as Resident Audit Unit in Madras Port Trust, Works Audit, Audit of Externally Aided Projects (including World Bank), Civil Audit Party, ISC Wing (as Headquarters AO), Performance Audit (ECPA). He was on deputation as Divisional Accountant in Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation from 2001 to 2006. Further, during his service in the office of Accountant General (Audit-II) - 2012 to l 2016 and was in STRA Audit Party. He was on deputation as Internal Audit Officer in Tamil Nadu Text Book Corporation in 2016 – 2018 during which a new Internal Audit Wing was formed carrying out audit of the annual expenditure of about Rs.1000 Crores.
Achievements:
- During his tenure in EAPs, huge money value objections were raised in the Audit Certificates issued by the office of the AG (Audit-I) and the same given effect by the World Bank authorities.
- Set up Internal Audit Wing, conducted pre-audit of the bills worth Rs 1000 crores annually before being passed for payment. Conducted physical inspection of manufacturing units supplying free school bags, shoes etc during his tenure in the Tamil Nadu Text Book Corporation.
- Before joining this office, he was holding the charge of the Deputy Accountant General (Administration, Pension and Funds) in the Office of the Pr Accountant General (A&E), Himachal Pradesh, Shimla since Feb 2019 till Aug 2021.
Smt. S.R. Subaranjani, IA&AS
Deputy Accountant General (Pension) / Deputy Accountant General (Accounts) (Add'l Charge)
Smt. Subaranjani S R assumed charge as Deputy Accountant General (Pension) on 03-09-2021. She belongs to 2015 batch of IA&AS. She has done Bachelors in Technology (Information Technology). She has worked as Deputy Accountant General in charge of Audit Management Group (AMG) - II in the Office of the Principal Accountant General (Audit-II), Kerala before joining this office.
