As per Rule-287 of the Jharkhand Service Code, a record of the service of Gazetted Government servants will be kept by the Accountant General in such form as the Comptroller and Auditor General of India may prescribe.
There is no provision for maintaining the Service Book of Gazetted Officer by the Accountant General. The details of the services of the Gazetted Officers are maintained by this office in Service Entitlement Register(SER) in Form-60 as prescribed by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India.
The SER form provides for noting of all orders of Government respecting the emoluments of the officer including the orders of creation of posts, fixation of pay, special pay, allowances, confirmation etc
