As per the State Government’s letter no.A-3.I-10-18/87/4466 dated 24.07.1987, the provisional payment to the officers promoted in ad-hoc basis will be made for two years provided it is certified that the officer is actually working on the post. Provisional payment should not in any case be authorised without time limit and in the first instance should not extend beyond a spell of 3 months or 6 months.

In cases, however, where the sanction of the Legislature or Parliament is necessary, provisional payment in no cases be made.
